When should I test?
For HIV and Syphilis 99.9% infection will show up in blood tests after 4 weeks. For Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea the tests should be accurate after 2 weeks.
There is a period of time known as the ‘window period’ where it may be too early to get accurate results. For HIV and Syphilis you can test after 6 weeks. For Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea the tests should be accurate after 2 weeks. We can still test you within this period, but be aware your tests may not reflect any recently acquired infection.
